FITMOM 2B fitness classes focus on improving your muscular balance, cardiovascular endurance and core stability, so that you feel more energetic and strong throughout your pregnancy. Active and healthy pregnant women go into labour with an advantage that helps them endure the physical demands of delivery.

FITMOM and Baby Classes Offered

Are you a mom with a new baby and wanting to feel fit again? FITMOM classes are a great way to get out of the house, get some exercise and make new friends. An encouraging and supportive environment means that you can work out at your own pace AND tend to your baby when needed. Babies are often fed, soothed or changed during class in between mom’s exercises!

The FITMOM and Baby fitness class is the most popular indoor FITMOM class for moms who want to workout with their babies. Shape and sculpt your body using your baby to provide added weight resistance. Each class is a full body workout designed to improve your core strength, burn fat and build muscle. You can expect to see longer, leaner arms, toned and shapely legs and smaller waistlines. Exercise without the guilt, meet other moms in your community and have FUN!

Please bring a baby carrier (structured, Mai Tai or non-stretchy wrap) to this class. Your baby will love snuggling with you while you wear him in your baby carrier and you will love the extra resistance that wearing your baby provides!

This class runs indoors from mid-October until mid-May.

FITMOM Stroller Strength Classes Offered

FITMOM Stroller Strength classes will be back in May 2018!

Are you a mom with a new baby and wanting to feel fit again? FITMOM Stroller Strength classes are a great way to get out of the house, get some exercise and make new friends. An encouraging and supportive environment means that you can work out at your own pace AND tend to your baby when needed. Babies are often fed, soothed or changed during class in between mom’s exercises!

Our outdoor FITMOM Stroller Strength class is designed to help you get fit, improve your strength and develop your core. We complete circuits designed to accommodate all fitness levels, so that you can work at your own pace, while building strength, stamina and lean muscle mass - perfect for burning fat. At FITMOM Stroller Strength, we’re not just pushing strollers, we’re using benches, hills, stairs and our own body weight to add variety to our workouts and make it more FUN for mom! Your baby will love being on the move in her stroller, but she’ll still get a little snuggle time near the end of class, when she helps us with our core exercises.

This class runs outdoors from mid-May until mid-October.

FITWOMAN Classes Offered

 

FITWOMAN classes are a challenging workout for ALL women, whether you’ve just had a baby or your “baby” was born 10 or more years ago. This bootcamp style class works to maximize your metabolism by combining many different strength and cardio exercises suitable for all levels of fitness. You can expect to increase lean muscle, improve cardiovascular endurance and reduce stress through a combination of intervals, circuits, plyometrics, strength training and great music all delivered in the signature FITMOM style!

This is a great exercise class for moms who have returned to work or who are interested in a workout without babies, where you get a full hour to focus on something for you!

FITWOMAN classes run indoors from September until mid-May. They are held in local parks from mid-May until August.

If any of these apply to you, then private personal training sessions may be the answer for you.  All personal training sessions will be customized especially for you, to help YOU successfully achieve YOUR fitness goals. Personal training sessions can be completed in the comfort of your own home, in my home, or outdoors in a nearby park, using very little equipment.

At your one-hour consultation, we’ll talk about your fitness goals, your lifestyle, your current level of fitness and a plan for fitting in exercise. We’ll also check for abdominal separation.
