Meet Sara. Sara's been coming to FITMOM classes for a little more than a year and has fully embraced our FITMOM family. We love that she's so committed to living her healthiest life and that she's so happy to share it with her daughter. When she went back to work a few months ago, she left a gap in our daytime classes, but we were more than happy to see her in all of our evening classes!

Meet Kim. She's been coming to FITMOM classes since my first round of summer classes in the park. I love that she lived in the neighbourhood, saw my poster and came to check it out. With the exception a few weeks to she took to recover from the birth of her second baby, she's been one of my most consistent attendees. She has also been one of my biggest cheerleaders almost from the day I met her:)

Using your Stroller for Fitness

Babies and strollers seem to go hand in hand, so why not get a workout in with both your baby and your stroller?  It's convenient, cost effective and most importantly, get's you out of the house for some fresh air. Power walking with your stroller creates resistance and increases the intensity of a regular walk. Daily walks at a moderate intensity will also help increase your metabolism, release more ‘feel good’ endorphins and reduce stress.
