Pricing Policies

Our ONLINE Class Passes may be used at any of our ONLINE 30 minute Express classes and our pricing policy and schedule take into consideration that our members lead busy lives and may not always be able to make it to a regular class on the schedule. Below are some alternatives to give you some additional flexibility:

  • You can come to any ONLINE Express Class offered during the time period you've purchased

  • Our New to Fitmama Strong 3 Class Pass is valid for 1 month from the date of purchase at any of our ONLINE Express classes

  • You can renew your registration once you’ve completed all of your classes or when your classes expire, whichever is earlier

  • The time period given to use your Online Class Pass takes into consideration that there are periods when classes may not be offered and therefore, cannot be extended

  • Class passes are not transferrable to another person

Our IN-PERSON classes are run as a series of classes that must be purchased as a package. Our New to Fitmama Strong class pass, 8 Class Pass and Online Drop-in pass cannot be used to attend these series of classes.

Class Reservation, Cancellation and Late Policies

We pride ourselves in providing flexibility to our members. We understand that people with babies sometimes encounter situations that might prevent them from attending a class at the last minute. We want everyone who is able, to have the opportunity to attend our classes, so we would like to request that you review the following class reservation policies:

  • Once you've purchased your pass, you'll need to use our registration system to reserve your spot in a particular class. This is how you will receive the zoom link for the class and helps us track who to expect at our in-person classes.

  • You are able to reserve classes right up to the start time of the class and up to 14 days in advance, as long as you have a valid pass for that class.

  • If you find that you’re unable to attend a class that you've reserved, we appreciate when you cancel your reservation.

  • We understand that things happen in life that are sometimes uncontrollable (especially when a baby is involved!). We encourage our members to attend classes, even when you might be running a few minutes late.

  • We apologize that any missed classes may not be carried forward past your pass expiry date.

  • While there are no make-up classes for our in-person series of classes, your pass gives you access to all of our online options, so you’ll be able to attend a live, online class or complete a workout from our library of pre-recorded workouts.

  • If we need to cancel an in-person class because of weather (or for some other unforeseen event), we will run a make up class on another day.

  • We rarely need to cancel one of our online classes. In the event that we need to cancel a class, we will send you a link to a pre-recorded video that you can choose to do instead.

Prenatal Series Policies

We apologize that missed classes may not be carried forward to a future session, since our classes are recorded and added to our content library for members to view for the duration of the series. We do try to add each recording to the library within 24 hours, but sometimes there are unforeseen issues and it might take a little longer. Any classes that are cancelled by the instructor due to unforeseen circumstances will be rescheduled.

Refund Policy

  • Refunds for 8 class passes must be requested before any classes have been used on your class pass.

  • Refunds for our Prenatal Series must be requested before the start date of the Series you've registered for.

  • Refunds on promotions such as 2 for 1 classes, unlimited classes or other seasonal promotions, must be requested before the first date of the promotion period.

  • A $25 administrative fee (plus HST) will be charged on all refunds.

  • Any unused missed classes are not refundable.

Other Policies

Fitmama Strong Ottawa reserves the right to change the class schedule (type, location, day or time) on occasion when the need arises. Although we make every effort to maintain a consistent schedule, there is sometimes a need to make modifications to the schedule, especially when classes move from indoor to outdoor locations.

Our online schedule is generally consistent through the year, however, we do move to a slightly reduced schedule during December and July/August.
